Making a contribution to the foundation provides you with a unique lever whilst also ensuring that you contribute towards the achievement of your BBBEE score card in South Africa.

With Fund a Project you take direct action to enable the Geness Foundation to engage socially with its many communities. This is how it works:
You choose the project you want to support from the four categories below.
You contribute to enable the Geness Foundation to develop and establish the programme.
You keep track of results by requesting annual updates.
With Fund a Project you give to the project you select, to change the lives of thousands of people, and see the results.

Leave a legacy
Leaving a bequest to the Geness Foundation offers you an opportunity to extend your support and influence beyond your lifetime and keep alive for years to come your hopes, your ideals, and your vision. When you include the foundation in your will, you become a partner in progress, possibly in a way you could never have envisaged.
The foundation’s relationships with individual benefactors are invaluable in our quest to keep pace with technological advances and improve our reputation for excellence in execution of our programmes. Privately sourced funds are vital to us in consolidating our position as a leading foundation in Africa.

Becoming a willing partner
A bequest to the Foundation can be made with stipulations that match your interests.
You have the choice of bequeathing a certain percentage of your estate or a specified amount.
Some benefactors elect to bequeath real estate, investments, works of art, books, or life insurance policies.
No matter the size or form, all bequests to the Foundation are exempt from estate duty.

Tax Benefits
In terms of Section 18A of 1962 (as amended) of the Income Tax Act, all gifts and donations to the Foundation are tax deductible.
